Tinubu is capable of resolving Nigeria’s multiple problems – Nnamani

Tinubu

Dr. Davison Nnamani, a former Labour Party (LP) gubernatorial candidate in Enugu State, has described President Bola Tinubu as a man capable of resolving Nigeria’s numerous problems, including insecurity, economic challenges, and other socio-political issues confronting the country.

He stated that the APC has now positioned itself to take over Enugu State due to an influx of grassroots politicians and statesmen who have expressed interest in joining the party in the state, while some who left the party have returned to reshape the national ruling political party.

He noted that they have gathered to support President Tinubu with their wealth of public and private sector expertise, noting that the president is revitalizing the third tier of government through the bill he recently filed with the National Assembly for local government autonomy.

Nnamani made the statements yesterday during his reception at Ikem Ward 1 in Enugu State’s Isi-Uzo local government area when he returned to the APC and re-registered as a party member in his ward.

Among those who welcomed him were the APC Ikem ward 1 chairman, Mr. Chinedu Obule; the Isi-Uzo local government party chairman, Hon. Paul Olinya, and his executive; the former Enugu East Senatorial candidate of the APC, Chief Tony Mbah; and many other APC members in the Isi-Uzo local government area.

Speaking at the reception, Nnamani stated, “We want to work with Chief Bola Tinubu to develop a progressive Nigeria. We are in Nigeria, which is dealing with insecurity, food scarcity, and a variety of other issues. He inherited big difficulties, but he has the ability to fix them, and we, the people at the grassroots, must provide him with all necessary assistance.

“One thing I noticed about the APC in Enugu State is that most of the programmes of the APC that come to the state are directed to other political parties, and that makes the party not grow, but we’re going to make a change.”
