Amaechi Muonagor, a Nollywood actor, has died.
Muonagor reportedly passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, due to kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke.
In 2023, he suffered a stroke that resulted in partial paralysis of his left leg.
According to reports, he was undergoing weekly dialysis and physiotherapy to alleviate the paralysis caused by the stroke.
His death occurred just days after he sought financial assistance on social media to cover the cost of a kidney transplant.

The actor, who hails from Anambra State’s Idemili North LGA, appeared in several Nigerian movies.
He gained prominence for his role as the father of two mischievous little boys in the film ‘Aki and Pawpaw’.
Amaechi Mounagor is survived by his wife, Hope Chikodi Mounagor, and their children.
His fans have gathered online to mourn his passing.
Amaechi Muonagor’s demise comes just weeks after another Nollywood comedy actor, John Okafor, well-known as Mr. Ibu, passed away.
