Football enthusiasts are excited to see the selection of the top players on the continent at the CAF Awards 2023, which are scheduled to take place in Marrakesh, Morocco, tonight.
The finalists for the coveted African Footballer of the Year title at the 2023 CAF Awards are Achraf Hakimi, Victor Osimhen, and Mohamed Salah.
Having placed third last year, two-time winner Salah is aiming for his third trophy.
Two competitors in the women’s division are Barbra Banda and Thembi Kgatlana, both of whom have won five times before.
Participating clubs in continental competitions, coaches and captains of the national team, the media, and the technical committee of the African football authority all cast votes.
On Monday night, Marrakech will host the 2023 CAF Awards. The city will be the focus of attention as it invites top legends, international superstars, and some of the best football players in the world.
The CAF Awards are scheduled to begin at 19:00 local time (7 p.m. Nigerian time; 18:00 GMT/21:00 Eastern African Time and 20:00 CAT).

Numerous CAF partners, including Ghana Broadcast Corporation, AfroSport, RTi, RTS, SABC, Eswatini TV, Rwanda Broadcasting Agency, Uganda Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Television Nationale Congolaise, Arryadia, New World TV, ONSport, SABC, Azam, Azam Media, OnSport, Ghana Broadcast Corporation, and Uganda Broadcasting Services, will present the awards.
