Sending HD-quality photos is now possible on WhatsApp.

You’ve probably heard that WhatsApp lowers photo quality, so send it via email. See how to use this new feature that allows users to exchange high definition (HD) photographs on WhatsApp.

The majority of the procedure for sending HD photos is the same as it was before Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, introduced a new WhatsApp feature that allows users to send HD photos.

The default setting for sending images will still be Standard Quality in order to maintain the speed and dependability of photo sharing over WhatsApp.

If you receive a photo with limited bandwidth connectivity, you can decide whether to preserve the regular version or update it to HD on a photo-by-shot basis.

Over the following weeks, HD photos will be made available everywhere. HD videos will follow soon.

How does it function?
The majority of the procedure for sharing HD-quality photographs remains the same. To send an image in HD quality as opposed to regular quality, there will be an additional step.

You must first select the Share Image option.
Choose the HD photo that you wish to share.
After choosing, a ‘HD’ option will appear at the top-center of the screen. Press that.
The choice between standard quality and high quality will then appear. Then, all you have to do is click the “Share” button.
