PAP Committee Applauds Tinubu on Otuaro’s Appointment

STRATCOM

The Presidential Amnesty Programme’s Strategic Communication Committee (STRATCOM) has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Chief Dennis Otuaro as PAP’s new administrator.

STRATCOM, in a statement signed by its chairman, Pastor Nature Dumale, described the appointment as evidence of Tinubu’s ability to pick qualified and experienced personnel to work with him.

Dumale added that Otuaro, having been involved in the Niger Delta conflicts, was aware of the region’s concerns, issues, and challenges, particularly those impacting ex-agitators.

He stated that the committee was convinced that the next PAP leader would use his experience to handle the concerns of ex-agitators and move PAP to the next level.

Dumale advised the incoming administrator to engage all program stakeholders in the region so that he can quickly fulfill his goal for PAP.

He urged all stakeholders in the region, including traditional rulers, youths, and ex-agitators, to support and collaborate with the new amnesty boss in the interests of peace and the Niger Delta’s overall development.

Dumale informed the amnesty chief that STRATCOM was founded under the reign of former Interim Administrator Colonel Milland Dikio (retd) to serve as a clearinghouse for authentic information about the PAP in order to avoid misrepresentation, half-truths, and falsehoods.

He stated, “We want to commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for naming one of us, who has been involved in the Niger Delta fight, as the new administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

“We are pleased that High Chief Dennis Burutu Otuaro was deemed worthy by the President to hold this historic post at this time in our history. This solitary choice emphasizes Mr. President’s ability to appoint qualified and experienced persons to serve in his administration.

“While we congratulate Otuaro on his appointment, we urge him to engage all stakeholders in the region to help him accomplish his goal for the amnesty program. Our committee has no doubts that the incoming administrator has the ability to take PAP to the next level and assist in maintaining peace in the Niger Delta,” he stated.
