Governor Caleb Mutfwang of plateau state has described his victory at the Jos Governorship election petition tribunal as the hand work of God that used the justices at the tribunal to give him justice.
According to him, he is carrying the mandate of the people of Plateau state and who voted overwhelming to put PDP Government in power on the Plateau.
Mutfwang who stated this while addressing newsmen at his official residence at Rayfield Jos on Friday, called on his opponents to team up with him to develop and build a New plateau where everyone will be given a sense of belonging .
Mutfwang said, this is not the time the petitioners should continue to use their energy on appealing the judgement of the tribunal again especially when it is clear that the people have spoken as reports reaching him from 17 LGAs in the state confirms that the people are in ectasy jubilating over the verdict of the tribunal.
He called on his opponent to join him and work for plateau and should not allow external forces to come and divide the people of plateau state again.
Similarly the state party chairman Chris Hassan commended the verdict of the tribunal for giving justice to governor Mutfwang because he won the election squarely .
According to him, the people of plateau have taken a decision to vote for PDP and that was what they have done by voting Mutfwang and wonder why some people wanted to take the mandate by hook or crook but thank God that the tribunal stood firm by declaring today that PDP on the Plateau had structures, contrary to the claim of the opposition party the APC.
According to him, PDP was founded in plateau state by their late father chief Solomon Lar and that PDP has come to stay on the Plateau.
