Wizkid, also known as Ayodeji Balogun, is a well-known singer who has stated that his music career is just getting started.
Notwithstanding his honors, stream figures, and chart achievements, he claims he has yet to secure any significant success in the music business.
Wizkid stated in a BBC Radio 1Xtra interview that music is something that will always be around.
He said, “The journey is about to begin for Wizkid. I don’t see myself as someone who has achieved something major yet. For me, music is a forever thing.”
Wizkid is one of the most popular artistes out of Africa with tons of music awards to his credit.
Wizkid, recently, opened up about his relationship with Burna Boy.
In an interview, he recounted that they first met while working on Burna Boy’s record “African Giant.”
He referred to Burna Boy as his family.
The Ojuelegba crooner added that having two great people in the same room will inevitably result in some amazing music.
In the video, the singer said; “Burna Boy and I are like family, when you have two great people in the room, you are bound to make amazing music.”
