Anthony Joshua has risen to the top of Ring Magazine’s rankings following his crushing victory against Francis Ngannou.
The former heavyweight champion knocked his opponent to the ground in the first round and then hit the deck twice before being knocked out with a thunderous right hand.
Joshua has now won four consecutive fights over Ngannou, Otto Wallin, Robert Helenius, and Jermaine Franklin following his losses against Oleksandr Usyk.
His recent excellent performances have propelled him from third to second place in the Ring Magazine heavyweight rankings.

Joseph Parker has also moved to the top of the rankings following his victories against Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang.
Oleksandr Usyk has retained the Ring magazine title, which he won in his second victory over AJ in 2022.
He is ready to defend that belt, as well as his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO crowns, against Fury on May 18.
The £100 million ‘Fight of the Century’ was supposed to take place on February 17, but the Gypsy King had to bow out after suffering a terrible cut above his eye.
