Famous Nigerian artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has opened up about his connection with Burna Boy.

Wizkid said in his latest interview that they first met while working on Burna Boy’s record, “African Giant.”

In a humorous incident from their time in the studio together, he described how things took an unexpected turn after his inebriation, despite the initial hiccup.

Wizkid also referred to Burna Boy as his family, stating that having two outstanding people in the same room will certainly result in some incredible songs.

In the clip, Wizkid says, “Burna Boy and I are like family; when you have two great people in the room, you are bound to make amazing music.”

In 2022, Wizkid expressed love for Davido and Burna Boy, months after they hugged out their decade-old fight at a Lagos nightclub.

Wizkid and Davido’s difficult relationship can be traced back to their beginnings as budding singers in 2011.

Although they have never divulged the source of their feud, their fans, known as the “30BG” and the “WizkidFC,” have long been at odds.

Wizkid stated, “Every time I speak with my brother, he tells me the truth about unity and Afrobeats.

“I want to tell you tonight, Starboy, that I love Burna Boy, Davido, and every fucking body.

“And I want to thank the fans for their support and for bringing us here. Because we wouldn’t be here without you,” he explained.
