Two terrorist commanders surrendered to Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) troops in the Lake Chad region.

Lt. Col. Abubakar Abdullahi, the chief of military public information, said in a statement released yesterday that the two terrorist commanders were from the Boko Haram faction of BaKoura Buduma.

He stated that the terrorists, Ibrahim Muhammed and Auwal Muhammed, also known as Wanka, surrendered to Sector 3 MNJTF (Nigeria) troops on March 25, 2024.

According to Abdullahi, the achievement was made possible by increased kinetic and non-kinetic operations against terrorist groups within Sector 3 MNJTF.
