Remita’s status as a leading innovator in the fintech sector on a global scale has been set by its selection as Africa’s Fintech Company of the Year 2023 at the Worldwide Finance Awards.

Remita has been hailed as the top Fintech company in Africa by Acquisition International, UK, highlighting its dedication to innovation and excellence. The honor recognizes Remita’s ongoing efforts to offer cutting-edge payment solutions to various stakeholders and reaffirms its status as a leading indigenous leader in the fintech industry.

A reputable monthly corporate finance publication, Acquisition International, is a division of the UK-based B2B publishing house AI Global Media Ltd. Since almost ten years ago, the UK-based Worldwide Finance Awards program has honored outstanding accomplishments in the financial sector. The awards honor people and organizations that have triumphed over major economic obstacles, distinguishing them as industry leaders. A merit-based process is used by an independent committee to evaluate nominations and choose the award recipients.

Remita was honored for “demonstrating expertise within the African fintech space, dedication to client service and satisfaction, and commitment to excellence and quality,” according to Steph Tooby, a representative of AI Global Media Ltd.

“We’re extremely honored and thrilled to be recognized as Africa’s Fintech Company of the Year 2023 at the Worldwide Finance Awards,” said Demi Atanda, Managing Director of Remita Payment Service Limited (RPSL), an affiliate of System Specifics Holdings Limited, in response to the recognition.
