Just in: PEPC dismisses APM Petition Against Tinubu, Shettima’s Nominations

On Wednesday morning, the Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC), dismissed the petition filed by the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) against the electoral victory of President Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

APM had filed the petition against Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 election on the ground that Shettima was not validly nominated.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) also filed petitions against Tinubu’s victory on different grounds.
