The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, on Wednesday, made a surprise appearance at the Advisory Council meeting headed by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun.

News Agency reports that Ladoja had several times shunned the meeting following the elevation of members of the advisory committee to beaded crown-wearing monarchs.

He arrived Alarere residence of Oba Balogun at about 11:48 am for the meeting in his black Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep with the number plate BDJ 123 AS.

In attendance at the meeting are Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehim, Otun Balogun, Oba Tajudeen Abimbola, Osi Olubadan, Oba Eddy Oyewole, Osi Balogun, Oba Lateef Adebimpe, Asipa Balogun, Oba Kolawoke Adegbola, Asipa Olubadan, Oba Kola Daisi, Ekerin Balogun, Oba Isioye Dada, Ekerin Olubadan, Oba Amidu Ajibade, Ekaarun Balogun, Oba Abiodun Agadagudu and Ekaarun Olubadan, Oba Akande.

A close associate of the former governor, who preferred anonymity, said, “Ladoja is not having any issue with anybody. He had since made his stance known to everybody. You know he is a man of peace.”
