“Lagos state was discovered by a Portuguese in 1472, reason the club is named 1472 to give it a Lagos feel”.

1472 FC new team bus was unveiled alongside a coach during the launch today at the old union bank sports ground, Surulere.

The team was acquired recently by business mogul, Dozy Mmobousi and will compete in the NNL this season.

1472 FC will be adopting the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan as it temporal home ground until the completion of the renovation of works at their original home ground, Teslim Balogun stadium.
