Just in: FCT Minister Wike approves demolition of slums in Garki, Jabi and 28 other areas

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike on Wednesday has approveed the demolition of slums in Garki, Jabi And 28 other areas which have earlier been surveyed by the Federal Capital Development Authority before this administration.

According to the FCT authorities, the demolition will affect about 6,000 buildings which have been marked in an effort to get rid the FCT of shanties and Illegal structures.
