President Bola Tinubu will today swear in his newly appointed ministers who majority of Nigerians expect to hit the ground running, most of whom are expected to be members of Federal Executive Council.
The event which is billed to hold at the State House Conference, Aso villa in Abuja by 10 am will see the appointed minister formally take over their assigned ministerial portfolio’s.
A statement earlier issued by the Director, Information Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey said the ministers are allowed to come with two guests each.
“Honourable Ministers to be sworn in are expected to come with two guests each.
“All Honourable Ministers and guests are to be seated by 9:00 am .”
The inaugruration is coming amidst high expectations from Nigerians following the government policies that have so far impoverished the masses.
The federal government had last week announced the release of thousands of tones of grain, bags of rice, as well as hundred’s of buses and Five billion Naira (N5b) to each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT,) as palliative and measures to address the biting effect of the recent removal of petrol subsidy, which had in-turn increased the social and economic hardship in the country

The SGF office further disclosed on Sunday that the ministers have completed their documentation ahead of today’s inauguration.
Director of information at the office, Willie Bassey, stated that the entire process has been conducted without any complications.
He added that those who have completed their documentation have also received invitation cards for up to three guests in relation to their upcoming engagements
Recall that the ministers had earlier been screened and ratified by the Nigerian senate, after a thoroughly security check by the state security agencies.
