Ambassador-at-Large to the African Region International Human Rights Commission, Dr. Malami Shehu Ma’aji (MFR), has join other prominent Nigerians in congratulated His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Abubakar, (CFR), on his 20th anniversary on the throne as Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers.
Dr. Malami Ma’aji who made the remarks in a congratulatory message yesterday described the 20th anniversary of the Etsu Nupe as the Celebration of Iconic and philanthropist of a Godfearing Monarch.
He also stated that the 20th anniversary of the ascendency to the throne of HRH Etsu Nupe Kingdom was a remarkable milestone which called for thanksgiving and celebration of a purposeful life.

“It is quite gratifying to be part of this epoch making occasion as a reminder of your infectious simplicity, steadfastness and committed to the progress of your people in particular and the nation at large.
“The 20th anniversary of HRH ascendency to the throne of Etsu Nupe Kingdom is a remarkable milestone which calls for thanksgiving, and celebration of a purposeful life.
“As a world class traditional ruler you’ve by all indications demonstrated your commitments to the unity and peaceful co-existence amongst the people across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
“We pray fervently to Allah (SWT) to grant you sound health and long life to celebrate many more years of blessings on the throne.
“It is indeed a double celebrations as we also join your long list of your admirers and well wishers on the great joy of your 71st birthday anniversary.
“We are proud to associate with you as a highly revered and respected monarch whose background, military career and elevation as the Chief Custodian of the tradition and culture of the people of Bida Emirate Council and beyond are well documented and significant for the upcoming generation.
“Once more, congratulations as we celebrate an Iconic personality, great philanthropist, God fearing and detribalized Nigerian with genuine passion for national cohesion.
