Charles Inojie, a veteran Nollywood actor, has declared the end of the popular Nigerian comedy series ‘The Johnsons’, 13 years after it first aired.
The Nigerian series, known for its comedy and poignant moments, has formed an enduring bond with fans who have laughed and cried alongside its unique characters over time.
In an Instagram post, Inojie wrote, “THANK YOU, AFRICA.”
“After 13 years of incredible enchantment, 13 years of magnificence, 13 years of being Africa’s most-watched television show, and 13 years of being every family’s favorite,
“The Johnsons are finally taking a bow.

Inojie was well known for his depiction of ‘Lucky Johnson’, the patriarch of the family on the show, who was married to the late Ada Ameh.
