Today, January 7, 2024, Peter Obi will address the path forward for Africa at Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah Independence Square, commencing at 5 pm.

The occasion, named the “Igniting the Voice of Africa” Convention and hosted by the New Africa Foundation, serves as a platform for African leaders to reflect on the continent’s developmental trajectory, aiming to set a course for the future.

Aligned with Ghana’s inauguration day, the event seeks not only to assess leadership but also to foster unity among Africans towards a shared vision of progress.

Accompanying Mr. Obi, other leaders such as Julius Makema (South Africa), P. Lumumba (Kenya), and Dr. Arikana (Zimbabwe) will also deliver speeches. They are expected to emphasize effective leadership and the involvement of youth in advancing one of the Foundation’s core objectives: contributing to Africa’s development.
