The Venue North stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) said it will organize a resounding reception to honour the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), and for er governor of the state Senator George Akume
Akume was recently appointed SGF by president Bola Tinubu.
Benue state governor, Hyàcith Alia made the the disclosure during an expanded meeting of party members in MAKURDI at the weekend
He explained that stakeholders in the zone collectively contributed substantially towards the hosting of the ceremony, but declined to specify time.
” For the homecoming of our leader and former governor relevant stakeholders unanimously resolved to mobilise who is who to attend the event on that day,” he said
Fr. Alia reiterated that about 41 committees have been constituted to ensure the smooth handling of the planned reception
Earlier, the chairman of the main Committee, Architect Sunday Echono in his comment assured that the planned reception would he eventful, adding that all stakeholders of the party have agreed to be part of it

Also spesking, the state Chairman of All Progressives Congress in Benue State, Austin Agada, said the leader deserved the honour, noting that he promoted humanity among the members of the ruling party in the state and beyond
