Troops neutralize 3 Boko Haram terrorists and rescue 9 captives

Troops from the 21st Armoured Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai, have killed three Boko Haram terrorists during a battle patrol in Borno State’s Bama Local Government Area.

During a battle patrol in Churchur village, troops from the 202 Battalion of the 21 Armoured Brigade, along with hybrid forces, neutralized the terrorists and rescued nine captives.

According to Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, intelligence sources reported that the army also discovered two Danish firearms.

On March 30, 2024, the army cleared Angwan Jingina and Bula Marwa as part of a separate operation with the Civilian Joint Task Force and hybrid forces.

“The troops successfully rescued nine people, including three adult ladies and six youngsters.

“The troops equally destroyed the hamlets in the camps of Boko Haram while the terrorists fled,” people close to the situation claimed.
