Mbappe To Receive World Record Signing-on-fee At Real Madrid

Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe is expected to earn a startling world record signing-on fee when he joins Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer.

According to Spanish radio station COPE, the France captain would receive a signing-on bonus of €120–€150 million (£103 million–£128 million/$130 million–$162 million) during the course of his anticipated five-year contract.

Marca claimed on Monday that Mbappe and the Madrid giants had reached an agreement; however, any public announcement is likely to be delayed while Los Blancos may still face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this season.

A tale that has gone on for years appears to be nearing an understated end. Mbappe informed PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he intended to leave when his contract expired this summer, and things have been extremely quiet since. Real Madrid, PSG, and the players’ representation appear to be bent on completing the trade in the most diplomatic manner possible.

Mbappe appears to be poised to accept a pay reduction when he joins the Spanish capital. However, sources indicate that he will be the highest-paid player on the Madrid team, thanks to a large signing-on fee and a portion of image rights.

The 25-year-old will undoubtedly be eager to leave his hometown of Paris on a good note, with PSG leading Ligue 1 and holding a 2-0 lead over Real Sociedad in the Champions League round of 16.
