In a grand move for the digital asset trading industry, Furex, a platform specializing in crypto and gift card trading, has introduced its highly-anticipated mobile application.
The launch event, held in Lagos, Nigeria, brought together esteemed customers, press members, and industry stakeholders, underlining Furex’s dedication to innovation and customer-centric services.
Founder and CEO, Fure Evieosekwofa, shared the driving force behind this development: “The need for Furex stemmed from our desire to simplify and enhance the crypto and digital asset trading experience.”
The Company started as FuretinXchanger, primarily focusing on gift card exchange but soon evolved to meet the increasing demands of cryptocurrency trading.
“We aimed to provide a reliable and user-friendly platform where people could seamlessly trade cryptocurrencies, gift cards, and other digital assets. The transition to Furex was a strategic move to broaden our offerings and provide a one-stop solution for all digital asset trading needs,” Fure added.
The mobile app, aptly named the Furex App, represents the culmination of years of strategic planning and unwavering dedication. “We didn’t just adapt to change; we embraced it, innovated, and evolved. This transformation, born from our relentless pursuit of excellence, gave rise to Furex,” stated Fure.
During the launch event, four brand ambassadors were introduced, embodying the values of the Furex brand and ready to promote them to a wider audience.
Alfred Jarikre, Furex’s product marketing manager, outlined the key features that set the Furex App apart. “Firstly, the security of user funds is a paramount concern for us,” he emphasized. “We have partnered with robust liquidity providers to ensure that user assets are safe and secure. Our commitment to safeguarding our users’ investments is unwavering.”
Jarikre also highlighted the extensive range of over 100 digital assets accessible through the app, including nine prominent cryptocurrencies. The user-centric design of the Furex App ensures ease of use, top-notch security, and a diverse range of trading options, catering to both beginners and experienced traders.
Reflecting on the development process, Damilola Olatoye, Furex’s product manager, acknowledged the challenges faced but assured users of robust security measures and emphasized Furex’s established credibility within the industry. “We have a loyal user base of over 20,000 individuals,” Olatoye noted.
As the Furex App becomes available for download and use in Nigeria and Ghana, the company has outlined its plans for expansion into other regions, with the goal of making this innovative platform accessible to users worldwide, ultimately transforming the digital asset trading landscape.
